Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed today’s video on my YouTube channel. These super sweet and healthy energy balls are great snacks to have handy when you have no time to sit down and have a meal!
They are 100% flour, sugar and oil free and it will take you 5 minutes to make. Hope you give it a try and feel free to add other things. If for some reason, the mixture doesn’t stick together enough to make balls, add more nut butter.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cups of rolled oats
1/2 cup of natural peanut butter (feel free to add more if you need to. You can also use cashew or almond butter)
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
2 tablespoons of raisins (you can add more if you want)
A few almonds or cashews
1/4 cup of shredded carrots
Things I didn’t add but you can:
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract (optional)
1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
METHOD
Add all these ingredients in a food processor until well combined. Remove mixture and put in a bowl, with clean hands slightly touch the mixture and test if you can form balls without the mixture falling apart. Add more nut butter if needed. Shape balls and enjoy!
